Blockbet can be used if you have the first word at the Texas Holdem table. This bet is rather small in comparison with the size of a pot. The main purpose of Texas Holdem blockbet is to prevent bets of your opponents. Sometimes you do not want your opponent to place big bet which will be too expensive for you. And in such cases blockbet is the best option!
